Somehow sometimes,
my insides feel really distorted
&I can't get my thoughts straight,
my heart a cauldron of emotions.
It is at times like that,
when I really like being left alone,
to spend time with the person,
I know I truly am.

&today was meant to be one of those days,
but I really enjoyed myself with you.
