I'M BACK :D
and no, no cheap nike bras there, but ohso many
cheap clothes la! bought like some kiasu old aunty,
how embarrassing la, but who cares :D

this OCIP trip was ohso very enriching please, went through so much,
learnt so much.
crossing borders, touching lives:
so very true and real.
the villagers there were so satisfied with simplicity;
the rawness of the place, the sleaziness and uncomplex
lifestyle reflects thoroughly their undemanding nature to life.
and i was just thinking, what made them so strong, to live by
each day with such simplicity, so easily satisfied and contented
with the simple things they have in life.
i know i could never live life they way they do,
foreign to technology, and using a non-flushed toilet.
alamak, seeing them made me feel ohsoso very fortunate
to be born and bred in singapore.
all you nuts should too.

okay anyway we built THREE HOUSES.
WAH CLAP HANDS PLEASE.
it was so tough la! mixing of the cement, laying of the 2452tonn bricks,
digging sand and gravel to mix cement for the flooring of the house.
wahlau all of us almost died, but we made it la.
THREE HOUSES IN SIX DAYS EXCUSE ME.
we even had thai massage cos muscle aches were saying hello.
shopping and all was so whoolala la, shopped like crazy,
like REALLY CRAZY.
the girls bought tonnes of shoes HAHA. needed this huge box to
lug the shoes back (minqi, huijuan, jiahui and andrea)
jiahui owned please, bought FIVE pairs of shoes.
LOL
what fun we had please :)
Lulu and I bought tonnes of stuff too. first day into shopping,
and we spent two hours combing the whole shopping complex,
like really running from shop to shop cos we thought
we'd be shopping for a day only.
HAHA.
but in the end we spent like three days in chaoroensri la,
spent all our fortune there.

i love lulu cheryl and wanlin la please
my new playmates and bunkmates :D
okay not exactly bunkmates, we swopped dorms and four
of us squeezed into one dorm. hahah
poor suhui had to share room with gloria cos wanlin
took her mattress.
anyhow, had so much fun with the whole team,
it'll take me some time to accustom to their absence la.
:( like how wanlin was telling all that she saw yesterday feeling
my absence. hahaha wah i'm so wanted :D
anyway i miss them too please, the guys and their neverending entertainment.
glen and sam and their nonsense,
matthew and his poor pronounciation of sweet ( "schweet"!)
kok and his ahem, scandal.
HAHA.
okay shant elaborate more.
i miss the girls truckloads too please.
singing with lulu and her ever so out-of-tune singing (or rather screaming)
slapping wanlin cheryl and lulu with the 95baht pillow we bought,
first thing in the morning when i wake up.
singing in the wee hours of the night,
and more singing in the mornings when we wake up.
jamming to the ipod.
LOL I LOVE LA :)
then there was the communal bathing area, squatting toilets witih manual flush,
the dining table which carries all our memories of playing bridge taidee, writing
of journals, late night snacking, and breakfasts + dinner.
all that nonsense la.

okay this is too long a post. i miss everyone and everything in thailand la.
